Digital Leader Team, Webpage and Online Safety
The new Year Five members of our digital leader team joined the existing Year Six members after they applied for the role via a Google Form and were selected due to their knowledge and expertise in the computing curriculum.
Our first task was to create a website, in addition to our school display, that we have maintained throughout the year. Feel free to take a look: https://sites.google.com/view/ascedl/home
Our second task was to prepare and present an assembly to the whole school where we introduced our website and explained our role in more detail.
For task three we promoted online safety in our school through hosting an assembly reminding pupils of the SMART rules. We also gave texts to each class to read that reinforced the importance of keeping yourself, and others, safe online. Additionally, we checked our computing and RHE curriculum to ensure that the topic of online safety was covered in every year group.
