This year, we used our role as Digital Leaders to make a huge contribution in helping our school to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2022.

Before the day started, we prepared an assembly which we then delivered to the whole school on the morning of Safer Internet Day. We also created a flyer that was given out to classes, and also went on our school’s social media page, containing lots of important information on how to stay safe online.

Throughout the day, all of the children at Woodland took part in exciting activities which taught them how to stay safe online. The Digital Leaders also went into each class and delivered an ‘E-Safety Scenario Workshop’, presenting the children with age appropriate E-Safety scenarios and discussing what should be done to stay safe in each online situation.
